East-facing horn antennas

These KS-horns communicate with the downtown Columbus site. They are top-mounted on the tower adjacent to the building. Most likely they were elevated to allow use of the higher frequency bands that were put in service after the concrete tower was built. The tower has additional bracing and guying because of the large windload the KS-horns present as well as the need to minimize twist, which would distort the path and result in signal loss. The struts extending outward below the antennas support the circular waveguide.
